 Amy Venuto is the Founder of Amy Venuto Training and Consulting.  Venuto currently consults and trains for 32+ teams or organizations.  Her clients are having fantastic success, recognizing terrific attendance growth, while select teams are annually setting attendance records.  Her increased experience working with a number of teams allows her to recognize connects that work for the vast majority of salespeople and departments.  She focuses programming to better enhance the skill sets of the teams she works with through these experiences. 

Amy Venuto Training and Consulting is designed to help you engage, entrench and grow a fan base.  Her training and consulting focuses on ticket sales, sponsorship sales, management training, leadership training, building a sales culture, enhancing a corporate culture, customer service, and customer experience. 

Amy Venuto worked in Minor League Baseball for 17 seasons, with focus on teams in Tri-Cities, Washington; Las Vegas, Nevada; Augusta, Georgia; Port Charlotte, Florida; and Aberdeen, Maryland.

Venuto’s various roles included selling and managing tickets and sponsorship, building an Events Department, overseeing customer service and customer experience for Ripken Baseball, acting as General Manager, and acting as Host President for the Cal Ripken World Series.

Highlights, during Venuto’s tenure with Ripken Baseball, include leading the Aberdeen IronBirds’ Ticketing Department to sell out every single game for three straight seasons.  Her efforts helped cement a culture that led to ten straight years of consecutive sellouts.  Venuto created, established, and grew the Ripken Stadium Events Department.  Ripken Events became an industry leader in this non-traditional revenue sector.

As Ripken Baseball added more minor league teams, Venuto moved into a corporate role and immensely aided in the startup of the new franchises helping to lead the teams to attendance increases and records.  Amy was the Host President of the Cal Ripken World Series, overseeing all aspects of this international event.  Under Amy’s leadership, the Cal Ripken World Series set attendance records three consecutive years.

Venuto was recognized in 2005 as the New York-Penn League’s Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year.  In 2010, Venuto was one of three recipients for Ballpark Digest’s Executive of the Year.  She was a Steering Committee Member for the early years of the Women in Baseball Leadership Event, and acted as emcee for the annual event from 2009 to 2012.

Venuto graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and is the proud mother of Alexandra Venuto.
